Dear Valued Customers,
Like most, we’re actively following the development of the Coronavirus that has spread around the world.
Most of our inventory has been in the US before the beginning of the crisis abroad. Any material leaving port now will be at sea for enough time that any contamination would not be viable or possible (see information below).
“According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is a very low risk of spreading the virus through imported goods because of poor survivability of the Coronavirus on surfaces, since most of the goods are shipped from China over a period of days or weeks. Coronavirus is generally spread via respiratory droplets. Currently, there is no evidence to support the transmission of 2019-nCoV associated with imported goods, and there have not been any cases of 2019-nCoV in the United States associated with imported goods.” From ADP Risk and Safety Manager - For more information please visit the CDC Website https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html
We will continue checking with the CDC to get the most recent updated requirements and ensure that we are taking all measures necessary in or to minimize disruptions to all our customers.
